Our Board
Ordinary Disciples is a 501c3 non-profit organization and is overseen by a board. We value honesty, transparency, and accountability and welcome all inquiries regarding our financial activities.
Board Members: Jayson Knox—Jayson Knox, has been involved in church planting and cross cultural ministry for several decades. His passions focus on discipleship, leader development, and helping leadership teams mature toward greater effectiveness. He enjoys a swim anytime, teaching elementary Sunday school, gardening, and grandkids. Jayson and wife Tracy have four adult children and eight grandchildren scattered from Montana to Istanbul to Austin. kornell.knox@gmail.com Debbie Kizer—Debbie Kizer is the founder and CEO of Imagine Art, an Austin based ministry that is on a mission to transform the lives of artists with disabilities for the glory of God. She describes her role as the perfect job in which she can pioneer new pathways for systems change or help an artist create a painting - all in the same day. She also enjoys singing, writing and painting, working primarily in acrylic on canvas with themes of illustrative storytelling. She has self-published a handful of mini-books, including My Canvas Without Edges which are on the adult zine shelf of the Austin Central Public Library. Debbie is married to Brad and mom to two children, Julie Blue (age 17) and Jesse (age 31). debbie@imagineart.net Dennis Weaver—Dennis has been a youth pastor, missions pastor, and ministry videographer. Dennis presently works in the film industry and is a Krav Maga instructor. He is married to the lovely Nikita. dennisweaver88@gmail.com Rose Dunaway—Rose is a nurse who represents health care organizations before the state of Texas. She has led many Bible studies, worked in benevolence ministries, and has a heart for the poor and homeless in Austin. Keith Atkinson—Keith has been a social studies educator, youth pastor, worship leader, home church planter, church planter, pastoral counselor, and pastor. Keith is the founder of Ordinary Disciples. Keith loves songwriting, singing, reading, tennis and independent films.
